Conserving energy plays a big part for todays sports games ranging through Football, Basket ball, Hockey, Etc. All of those sports take alot of energy to make the game go on. Met Life stadium preserved energy by making solar rings, Innitiating composting, Water conservation, and building controls that increased the reduce of energy by 20% in yhe last three years. They did those things because having things held there couple days at a time it shows that it takes alot of energy to let those things go on. Nfl is trying to do everything they can to avoid what happened in the past when the power shut out during a game. They added extra generators to make sure no things like that happen any more.
I think that what there doing is actually pretty good because it looks bad going to a game and the power shuts out. They place looks bad because it brings in so much money to keep everything up and running. thats like if a schools power went out while kids were in school. that would lookbad on the school becuase they tax payers pay alot to keep the power on so alternatives like that would be good so we can avoid that stuff. Nfl is setting a good examples to show they care about the enviorment.
